In the interest of creating my paid members-only occasional audio posts I often jot down some notes to remember points I want to make when I record. However, sometimes the notes become sufficiently detailed, and the substance of the post is sufficiently concise, that it doesn’t make sense to do an audio recording of something that’s basically done. So, I’ve decided, addressing those cases more parsimoniously, to introduce the paid members “thumbnail briefs.”
This will of course mean that my hidden gems of extemporaneous digression are sadly sacrificed. But, of course, it’s all about the tradeoffs. In this first thumbnail brief, from within the logic of themes discussed on this Substack, I untangle a bunch of confused thinking as pertaining to the US Supreme Court’s recent voiding of the Chevron deference doctrine.
