Hey everyone. Hope you’re well. Tomorrow is the second year anniversary of this substack. Happy Anniversary to us! Though admittedly, it’s been a bit dormant recently, as I’ve worked on the book.
And, with the new book just about to become available, I thought (anniversary and all) it was time (I guess somewhat past time) to make The Managerial Class on Trial available for all those folks who just won’t buy paper books any more.
While there’s certainly things in it which I’ve come to reconsider, most notably the overly quick dismissal of the potential of populism (see here), I still think the core analysis remains valid and worthy of consideration. Indeed, the new book largely springboards off the analysis in that earlier book. Not to say you can’t follow the new book without reading the former one, but you will get more out of the new book if you have read it.
So, for those who have been holding off getting their copy of The Managerial Class on Trial, either for budgetary or minimalist lifestyle reasons, that obstacle I’m happy to report has been removed. The link to the Kindle version is below. Just click on the cover image. Enjoy. Always happy to hear folks’ feedback.
And of course, stay tuned for the new book, which I’m expecting to be out very early next month.
Got it, read it, looking forward to your new one (paper).
