I’m sorry the second link is from the Financial Post newspaper where I am subscribed only to NP Platformed (National Post)electronic newsletter which is free… yet I received this article but it is not allowing me to copy it which is really annoying because it is so easily understandable and relatable and so clearly points out ALL of the areas where we are at such great risk. Sorry! I thought I copied it.
Yes I agree with you, you are right, they are all “true believers” and also psychopaths as they feel not an ounce of remorse or guilt for literally destroying our country, our peoples and our way of life. I am enclosing an article from today’s NP Platformed where the journalist former minister of Stephen Harper’s government explains what is actually happening and where we are headed if Canadians don’t wake the f___ up, totally depressing and he clearly identifies all of the different areas where progressive “change” is being pushed forward.
I would never have thought of this even being possible because of the seemingly huge massive divide between the ideologies of the two parties but both parties have members of the Deep State amongst their ranks so a lot of the politics we see is definitely for show. From what I’ve learned it is the Deep State that controls ALL from behind the scenes irrespective of which president or of which party is in power and there isn’t anybody that has been able to penetrate their ranks and or expose them and so many have died trying! They are too powerful and they want the Great Reset to continue on as planned especially now that the masses are primed with conditioning and fear from the “Plandemic.” Our Trudeau is nothing but a puppet dancing to the tune of the WEF and the globalists and he is systematically destroying this country too! Our Canadian Intelligence service recently obtained proof that the Chinese government interfered with our 2019 federal election and the Trudeau Liberal government is doing absolutely nothing about it. Also 4 disguised Chinese “police stations” have been discovered in the GTA (greater Toronto area) whom apparently have been targeting Chinese Canadians using force of threatening their family members still in China with no healthcare and job losses and financial ruin IF they won’t go back to live in China and many have already been forced to leave. I am sure Trudeau knew about these so called Chinese police stations so why is he ok with a communist foreign occupancy on Canadian soil as I’m sure the Chinese government wouldn’t be ok with Canadian police stations on their soil. He has sold us out beginning from 7 years ago when he was elected and he’s a psychopath who feels no guilt or shame or remorse for selling out our people and for continuing on with the Reset plan of destroying our entire country and our sovereignty too. Mass immigration has been happening here too which is causing a shortage of housing, and rentals, and jobs, and putting ever more stress on our healthcare system while systematically watering down our patriotism.
Thanks for your comment, Sonya. The participation is always appreciated. I guess the one point I might disagree on is that Trudeau is a puppet of WEF. In the past, I've also called him a puppet, though of the governing clique of the Liberal Party. So, if that were true, I guess you could revise, saying that the governing clique of the Liberal Party is a puppet of WEF. But I don't think that's true either. Puppets have no agency; they're simply manipulated by the puppet-master. But the ruling faction of the managerial class -- in Canada and elsewhere in Atlantica -- are not puppets, but true believers. What you call the Great Reset is as much their agenda as it is the WEF's or Klaus Schwab's. I think it would be comforting if they were only puppets; they'd be easier to defeat, because they'd have less invested. But as true believers, they're all in on the globalist agenda. I guess it's debatable how important such nuances are, but I think they might be and so are worth reflecting upon.
The 4-D chess of American politics is unfortunately built around a set of rules which favors the system, over the people.
The mind-hive Borg-like coalition known collectively as democrats, will do whatever is needed for their system to prevail, much like a virus that over replicates until it kills its host.
The free ranging chaotic group of spores known as republicans seem incapable of recognizing their own swamp infections as the mass wanders aimlessly from one buzzword oasis to the next. This disunity will also lead to a loss.
The need for a unifying objective, or ideology is present in one large faction (even though it is one of anti-americanism, collectivism and state control).
If the other free rangers could coalesce behind an ideology that favors the citizen, that puts the citizen above The State, that proves its fidelity to foundational principles through actions, and not vacuous word salads, then we may see a return to sanity. (If only there were a document that outlined that....?)
Otherwise, as others mention, kinetic combat is most likely the only outcome that will yield change, albeit a very painful one. The only thing keeping that at bay seems to be the multigenerational success of removing critically thinking brains, strong resolute spines and a balanced mix of adrenaline, testosterone and serotonin, from the bulk of our society.
The anti-McCarthy forces are doing the right thing, but it is important not to expect too much from Congressional politics.
A popular front in Congress against uniparty globalism would most likely be pointless at this stage. The whole sphere of representative politics is becoming less relevant with every election. The reality of widespread electoral fraud (and the inability of the federal courts to acknowledge, let alone correct, the problem) guarantees that elections cannot confer legitimacy upon the legislature.
Even the most energetic and vocal populist minority in Congress would only serve as a foil for the uniparty (much as Trump now does), but they would never be able to achieve anything substantial. If such a force were to develop and prove a nuisance, they would be picked off one way or another: defamed by a confected scandal (like Trump with the 'Russiagate' hoax), gaoled like Eugene Debbs or assassinated like the Kennedy brothers.
Without a degree of mass mobilisation or popular unrest, no lasting political change of any kind is possible. The constituencies of discontent remain unorganised. The solution must come from within those constituencies, not from professional entertainers/politicians at the national level whose advocacy is typically ineffective.
The fate of the regime will most likely be settled by war and the fate of the petrodollar and the financial system. In the meantime, 'representative' politics will serve to distract the public. The only politicians capable of doing anything positive are at the state level who can prepare for the possibility of Washington growing weaker as the petrodollar slowly but surely fails.
Well, as I've said previously (can't hyperlink in comments unfortunately), I believe there is an inescapable political dimension which can't be avoided. Though to what degree that needs to be electoral is open to debate. However, even if your analysis of Congressional prospects is entirely accurate, there's still benefit in public displays of the actual harsh lines of real political division. Which, incidentally, is why I don't think what I've speculated upon will happen: it would be a major tactical error on the part of ruling faction of the managerial class to allow the mask to fall away so completely.
However, as the series of posts that will occupy this space over the course of the present month will demonstrate, to the degree that acting effectively requires thinking effectively, an entire political reconceptualization is required. So, if you thought I was proposing some electoral panacea, definitely not the case.
You are perfectly correct that there is an inescapable political dimension: the public display of the divisions within the political class is important and the present crisis will help more people wake up to reality.
I was probably over-doing things...my gut instinct is that politics is mostly overrated. Frankly, I am exhausted with the endless turmoil and the misdirection of attention. Not that your post was guilty of this, but substack comments offer a convenient outlet to vent.
I look forward to reading your future posts. Conventional political thinking is worse than useless and needs to be refocused via rigorous re-examination of real-world conditions.
>my gut instinct is that politics is mostly overrated
Depends on what one calls "politics". The theatre that we see in the news is definitely overrated. Actual politics - which can be roughly defined as building and maintaining coalitions in the quest for power, from office politics to geopolitics, - is a human universal, and one ignores it at their peril.
Very good point. For most people politics is simply an aspect of the infotainment industry. For a substantial minority, infotainment is a form of self-administered psychotherapy.
For those who can think for themselves, politics is about control of people and resources. One is either controlled and exploited or one controls and exploits others.
IMO the clown show in Congress is almost entirely infotainment.

HNY! Good to see you back.
Are you saying that McCarthy is not a pro-establishment figure?
Don't use that wily 4-D chess humor on me.
Thanks. Happy to be back. I think it will be a provocative month for many of my readers, here at the old COE.
