Reminds me of Russia's Black Hundreds movement.

They were crushed by the government, which was then crushed by the subsequent elite coups.

The elites seem to always prioritize putting down the populist right. Perhaps because they fear it the most.

Looks like Stalin learnt from history and preempted the peasant revolt with Holodomor and collectivization.

Indeed. The Russian peasants also weren't very cooperative with the Russian revolution, either.

This was an excellent piece of analysis. Groundbreaking for me and it strikes me as a lot more robust than the weak intellectual claims of the left to represent the people.
